In Dreams
This site was first created on November 14, 2004. I chose the name "In Dreams" because I think it describes the dramatic, dream-like worlds and feelings that the Final Fantasy series creates. I was kind of forced away from the online world shortly after the opening of ID because of real life issues, causing the site to go on an almost 2 year hiatus. In June of 2006, we re-opened :)
Joining
When you join you get a "Starter Pack" of cards; kinda like you'd buy in real life. This pack contains 1 card from your favorite set and 4 random cards. If you submit a level-up form after you get your cards up, I'll send you another random card!
TCG'S
An online TCG (trading card game) is basically the same as a real-life trading card game. You collect cards, trade with other people and try to master certain sets.
Mastering Sets
In order to master a set, you must first collect all of the cards in the set. Lets say you're trying to master "Final Fantasy X". If you collect all 15 cards by participating in contests and trading with other members, you've mastered it. Rewards for mastering sets depend on how many cards were in the one that you mastered. Guidlines are as follows:
10 cards: 1 card of choice, 1 random
15 cards: 1 card of choice, 2 random
20 cards: 2 cards of choice, 2 random
5 Card Special: 2 cards of choice, 2 random
10 Card Special: 3 cards of choice, 3 random
Earning Cards
There are quite a few ways of earning cards here at In Dreams, most of which require you to be active with the site. You can earn them by participating in contests, playing games and making graphics. Please check the fun section for more information. (Put "Sir" or "Miss" in front of your name when you submit your join form and I'll send you an extra card xD)

The levels and rewards for leveling are as follows. More levels and rewards will be added when neccessary :) Badges can be found

Warrior : 5 - 50 cards -->

White Mage : 51 - 100 cards -->
3 Random Cards
Thief : 101 - 150 cards -->
1 Random Card, 1 Card of Choice
Black Mage : 151 - 200 cards -->
2 Random Cards, 1 Card of Choice
Paladin : 201 - 250 cards -->
3 Random Cards, 1 Card of Choice
Red Mage : 251 - 300 cards -->
1 Random Card, 2 Cards of Choice
Dragoon : 301-350 -->
1 Random Card, 2 Cards of Choice
Monk : 351-400 -->
2 Random Card, 2 Cards of Choice
Dark Knight : 401-450 -->
2 Random Cards, 2 Cards of Choice
Samurai : 451-500 -->
3 Random Card, 2 Cards of Choice
Summoner : 500 + -->

Trading
In order to make a trade, you must first
nicely ask the person whom you'd like to make the trade with. Please note, that no-one is
required to make a trade with you, and if they say no, it means no. I expect everyone to be civil to everyone here at In Dreams. If you're trade is accepted, put up the new card and take down the old.

Of course I am! I can't play any of the games obviously, since I know all of the answers... so since I do a bunch of the work, I'm going to use a fun little card
randomizer thingie to pick out cards for me each week equivalent to what you all get for playing form games. If you have a problem with me playing, please
email me and we'll work things out. This is also a way for me to keep busy because I can get cards (just like you) for donating things. So it's also like a bribe for me to do things for you xP Oh! And I
can participate in freebies (such as taking a card from a new set)
